Three Men Prohibited From Carrying Busted With Gun, Drugs In Severn: Police

What started as a routine traffic stop led to the arrests of three men familiar with police who were busted with a gun, and other suspicious items in Anne Arundel.

Officers conducted a traffic stop at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17 in the area of Bunker Hill Lane and Commodore Drive in Severn, when the driver committed a violation.

While conducting the subsequent stop, police say that officers were given probable cause to search the vehicle, leading to the seizure of:

  • 152 grams of suspected marijuana;
  • A loaded semi-automatic handgun;
  • $1,429 in cash;
  • Multiple cell phones.

Following the search and seizure, members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department arrested:

  • Demond Antaz Parker (driver), 25, of Ellicott City;
  • Melvin Supreme Scott II, 35, of Baltimore;
  • Bobby Delonte Moore, 26, of Edgewood.

All three men inside the vehicle are forbidden from possessing firearms. Charges against all three.

Police say that the men were all taken into custody without incident and will be “charged accordingly,” though specific offenses have not been announced by investigators.
